Steven Savor Coach Steve Savor is a prodigy of the south,as a native of Miami, Florida,Coach Savor”shockey background and experience is exceptional. His experience in hockey includes hisyears in AAA youth hockey as a standout player for the Junior Panthers organization. Steve’s outstanding development earned him advancement to the prestigious Shattuck St. Mary’s where he became a standout player.Because of Steve’s accomplishments, he was drafted in the 8th round of the OHL main draft by the Sarnia Sting.Steve played for an number of years in the OHL for Sarnia and left his mark as a complete two-way player that was a compliment to any player on his line and team After his professional playing career ended, Steve enrolled at Florida StateUniversity where he has earned a bachelors degree in environmental studies, He graduated Florida State with an impressive 3.20 GPA. He has significant coaching experience at the junior and collegiate level.His most recent experience was serving as the Collegiate Head Hockey Coach at FSU. A gifted, knowledgeable, driven, and exceptionally disciplined individual, Stevepossesses enormous understanding of the game and his motivational demeanor and his competitive fire will allow the young Knights to achieve outstanding goals as a team.Like coach Ian, he expects total commitment and discipline from his players. He has a system and philosophy that will prepare players for the next level and stresses the need for each player to respect the game and be a complete two-way player.
